BASIC INFORMATION:
FwF is an adult, coed league and anyone 18+ can play!

• Wednesday SPRING 2025 Pickleball – registration is OPEN!
  Games take place beginning on April 2, 2025 – typically 7:30PM or later.
• Sunday SPRING 2025 Pickleball – registration is OPEN!
  Games take place beginning on March 30, 2025 – typically 5PM or later.
• The Pickleball Playground hosts us. They are located at:

• IMPORTANT LEAGUE DIVISIONS INFORMATION:
  After your team is formed, your captain will notify the commissioner of your considered team’s skill level ranking as a whole. This is based on a 1.0 to 5.5. From that, your team will be placed in either the Pickled or Cucumber Division for the season. This will be your division all throughout the season and playoffs, playing similar skill leveled teams. We could move your team up until week 4 if we see you might be better placed in a different division. For your final regular season game(s), you could cross-over to have each division play one another (pending how many teams we have). This will be at least the last regular season game sets but could be the final 2 game sets. In playoffs, you will ONLY play other teams in your division. Each division will have it’s own team of champs for the season!

• Games last roughly an hour & you have the court for the full hour (see further down for details).
• We play indoors during all seasons.
• Every free agent, person(s) without a team, DO get placed. Guaranteed, register with confidence!

HOW TO REGISTER:

• Click the “REGISTRATION” tab above to officially register on our site.
  If you have already registered once before, then just log-in if you aren’t already.
• After you complete this step then click on the “MAKE PAYMENT” tab and complete check-out.
• NOTE: you are not registered to play on a team until you submit payment.
  Registering on the site only creates an account on here. Make sure payment is submitted!
• SIGN ON AS A FREE AGENT OR WITH A FRIEND!
  If you don’t have a team, that’s ok!
  In the team name field just type “free agent” or “free agent with (name)” to be placed with a friend.
• EARLY REGISTRATION INCENTIVE is $60 for 8 total games of play in the league.
  Pay prior to 2 week before games beginning to save!
• REGULAR REGISTRATION COST is $70 if registering after the 2 week prior deadline.
• Team captain must register the team first unless you are registering as a free agent (to be placed with a random team).
• Team captains choose the team colors. Any color you choose will revert to what your captain picked.

LEAGUE INFO & RULES:

• How the 2 divisions work
  -Your team’s skill level will either be truly beginner, intermediate or advanced. If we have enough teams, this is how that will look. Intermediate teams will play in both divisions at some point but mainly be placed in the Pickled Division for standings and playoffs. Unless, we see that they are not quite there yet by week 4. Beginner and Advanced will mainly play one another.
  –Cucumber Division: 5 players minimum required (max of 7 players per roster) – Mainly beginner level teams and players, no advanced players in this division. Great division for anyone learning or who has only played a few times.
  –Pickled Division: 4 players minimum required per team (max of 6) – Mainly upper intermediate and advanced teams, no beginner players in this division. Great division for those who are skilled and competitive.
  -If we have 8 teams or less, all teams might play in the same regular season division and be separated only during playoffs based on final rankings. If this happens, you will still play in playoffs at your team’s skill level division.

• Balls are provided by the league. We have a limited amount of paddles to loan out. If you can, please buy your own paddle.

• Expect at least 1 night of double-headers during most seasons.

• Best 2 out of 3 set of games every night of league play but you MUST play all 3 games.
  Scores count as tie-breakers for standings. Each set plays to 11.

• Player/Team Requirements:
  – Cucumber Division: 5 players per team minimum required (7 maximum). With at least 2 being females.
  – Pickled Division: 4 player per team minimum required (6 maximum). With at least 2 being females.
  
• You can add players to your team up to week 4. No players can be added after week 4, rosters are locked.
• Substitute players are NEVER allowed, only registered/paid team players can play for designated team. The penalty for playing a game with a sub is automatic forfeit.
  
• We play mixed doubles. However, the only gender requirement is on the females. 2 ladies can play at once but 2 men can’t. This is to maintain the coed spirit.
  There is no other gender requirement for a team.
• IF YOUR TEAM DOESN’T REGISTER UP TO REQUIRED MINIMUM PLAYERS, YOU WILL RECEIVE FREE AGENTS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT. Even if you ask us not to. We are sorry but all teams must meet the minimum.
• Free Agents will not be assigned until 5-7 days prior to the season starting. If you have questions, please reach out!
• You will get a minimum of 8 total games of play guaranteed.
  This time-frame includes a playoff week to determine the FwF Pickleball champs!
• Teams will call out their own faults. If we need a night to go over rules and teach, we can work this in. There will be a league “captain’s chat” where we can quickly communicate with captains and help set-up such a night if need be.

THINGS YOUR TEAM WILL NEED:

• Matching shirt colors. Get an optional FwF shirt at registration or coordinate on your own.
• Having your own paddle is recommended. 
• Each team will need at least 1 in-door Pickleball for league play. Teams will provide their own Pickleball.
  
• Per the location, you must wear court compatible shoes to not destroy their courts.
• Outside of that, everything else is optional and up to you!

AWARD:

• Each division’s championship team gets a picture with the FwF Pickleball Trophy for their respective division. They also get their team plaque added to that division’s trophy!
