BASIC INFORMATION:
FwF is an adult, coed, social league and anyone 18+ can play! We have two separate leagues.

• Sunday WINTER 2025 KICKBALL – Registration is OPEN! 
  Games take place beginning January 12, 2025 – 12PM or later.
  West Hills/John Bynon Park, which is located across the street from West Hills Elementary school off of Sheffield Dr.
  We ask that kickball players park at YMCA West – SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MAP.
• Sunday SPRING 2025 KICKBALL – Registration is OPEN! 
  Games take place beginning March 23, 2025
  SPRING NOTE: We will skip Easter, Mother’s Day & Memorial Day weekends.
  Typically starting at 12PM & later but can begin earlier if needed.

• Thursday SPRING 2025 KICKBALL – Registration is OPEN! 
  Games take place beginning March 2025 – typically 6:30PM or later.
  Sportspark Ballfields – 8050 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville, TN 37931
  The field we play on may vary, please see schedule once released.
• Register prior to 2 weeks before games begin to save $10 (details below).
• Games last roughly an hour. 
• We can accept schedule requests from team captain prior to the schedule being created.
• Every free agent, person(s) without a team, DOES get placed. Guaranteed, register with confidence! 
  
• Robby Edgerton Jr is the kickball commissioner.

For Sunday league, we will work around softball schedules the best we can, in case you wish to play both.
However, there may be the rare schedule conflict. YOUR CAPTAIN MUST TELL US WHO PLAYS SOFTBALL. If they do not, we can’t work around the schedules.

HOW TO REGISTER:

• Click “REGISTRATION” tab above to officially register on our site.
  If you have already registered once before, then just log-in if you aren’t already.
• After you complete this step then click on “PAYMENT” tab and complete check-out.
• NOTE: you are not registered to play on a team until you submit payment.
  Registering on the site only creates an account on here. Make sure payment is submitted!
• SIGN ON AS A FREE AGENT OR WITH A FRIEND!
  In the team name field just type “free agent” or “free agent with (name)” to be placed with a friend.
• EARLY REGISTRATION COST is $45 for 8 games total of play.
  Pay prior to 2 weeks before games beginning to automatically get this incentive price!
• REGULAR REGISTRATION COST is $55 if registering after the 2 week prior deadline.
• TEAM RATE? Yes, we do offer a team rate of $45 per person paid in full. Even if it’s past the early registration incentive, you still pay this rate. This fee must be paid via our Venmo: @FunWithFriends-Knoxville. Then we must be emailed your team name, color and complete roster first and last names to sports@fwfknoxville.com. Each player will still be required to create an online account, signing our digital waiver.
  
• Team captain must register a NEW team first unless you are registering as a free agent (to be placed with a random team).
• Team captains choose the team colors. Any color you choose will revert to what your captain picked.

NOTE: If you register 1 week or less prior to the season start date, you will get a Royal Frost Late Registration colored shirt.

LEAGUE INFO & RULES:

• Kickball Rules: FwF-Kickball-Rules-2024-Update
• Everything required will be provided by the league.
• 12 players per team minimum (no maximum) with at least 3 females & 3 males. This requirement must be met or there will be penalties. Be sure to read our rules regarding this.
  
• 3 females & 3 males must take the field and kick. This is our only team gender requirement. Otherwise, you’ll have to play short in the field and take an out for each missing. See the rules for more.
  
• IF YOUR TEAM DOESN’T REGISTER UP TO 12 PLAYERS, YOU WILL RECEIVE FREE AGENTS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT. Even if you ask us not to. We are sorry but all teams must meet the minimum. If we do not have enough to provide, it will be up to you to finalize your roster or be subject to game-time penalties.
  
• Every player on the team gets playing time at every game they show up for. All players present are required to kick but can choose not to field if their team has enough. If they want to field, they must be played. 
• Free Agents will not be assigned until 3-5 days prior to the season starting. If you have questions, please reach out!
• You will get a minimum of 8 games guaranteed. This time-frame includes a playoff week to determine the champ!

• PLAYOFFS:
  Top teams make the Silver Cup Division playoffs. The bottom teams make the Solo Cup Division.
  With that stated, there can be 2 weeks of playoffs. Top number of teams will vary depending upon total number of teams. If we have 9 teams or less, all will play in the Silver Cup. If we have 12 teams or less, top 6 will play in Silver and bottom 6 will play in Solo. If we have more than 12 teams, top 8 will play in Silver Cup.
  
• Thursday league can vary from the above.
  
• Standings will determine who you play in playoffs and which division you qualify for. This schedule will release the week before playoffs.

AWARDS:

• Silver Cup winning team gets a team plaque added to and pictures with the FwF Championship Kickball Cup!
  Plus, each present player gets a FwF Championship Medal OR they can decline the medal and choose something from our Winner’s Circle “shop”. See the tab for what is offered.
  
• Solo Cup winning team gets a team plaque added to and pictures with the FwF Solo Cup!
  
• In some leagues we will have a 3rd place match-up during the playoffs. This is called the “You Tried” match-up. The award given to the winning team will be something fun and can change from season to season.
