Kickball League

BASIC INFORMATION:
FwF is an adult, coed, social league and anyone 18+ can play! We have two separate leagues.

• Sunday SPRING 2024 KICKBALL – Registration is CLOSED! 
  Games take place beginning March 24, 2024 – typically 12PM or later.
  West Hills/John Bynon Park, which is located across the street from West Hills Elementary school off of Sheffield Dr.
  We ask that kickball players park at the YMCA and walk over.
• Thursday SPRING 2024 KICKBALL – Registration is OPEN! 
  Games take place beginning April 25, 2024 – typically 6:30PM or later.
  Sportspark Ballfields – 8050 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville, TN 37931
  The field we play on may vary, please see schedule once released.
• Register prior to 1 week before games begin to save $10 (details below).
• Games last roughly an hour.
• Robby Edgerton Jr is the kickball commissioner.

For Sunday league, we will work around softball schedules the best we can, in case you wish to play both.
However, there may be the rare schedule conflict.  

HOW TO REGISTER:

• Click “REGISTRATION” tab above to officially register on our site.
  If you have already registered once before, then just log-in if you aren’t already.
• After you complete this step then click on “PAYMENT” tab and complete check-out.
• NOTE: you are not registered to play on a team until you submit payment.
  Registering on the site only creates an account on here. Make sure payment is submitted!
• SIGN ON AS A FREE AGENT OR WITH A FRIEND!
  In the team name field just type “free agent” or “free agent with (name)” to be placed with a friend.
• EARLY REGISTRATION COST is $45 for 8 games total of play.
  WINTER SEASON ONLY – $40 for 7 games total of play
  Pay prior to 1 week before games beginning to save!
• LATE REGISTRATION COST is $55 if registering after the 1 week prior deadline.
  LATE COST IS $50 IN WINTER SEASON.
• Team captain must register a NEW team first unless you are registering as a free agent (to be placed with a random team).
• Team captains choose the team colors. Any color you choose will revert to what your captain picked.

FwF TEAM SHIRTS ARE OPTIONAL BUT TEAMS MUST MATCH IN SHIRT COLOR!

Only $15 at checkout, just select the option. If you don’t know your team color or are a free agent, leave the color choice blank.

NOTE: If you register 1 week or less prior to the season start date, you will get a Royal Frost Late Registration colored shirt.

LEAGUE INFO & RULES:

• Kickball Rules: FwF-Kickball-Rules-2024-Update
• Everything required will be provided by the league.
• 12 players per team minimum (no maximum) with at least 3 females.
• 3 females must take the field and kick. Otherwise, you’ll have to play short in the field and take an out for each missing.
• IF YOUR TEAM DOESN’T REGISTER UP TO 12 PLAYERS, YOU WILL RECEIVE FREE AGENTS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT. Even if you ask us not to. We are sorry but all teams must meet the minimum.
• You can’t sub missing players if your team roster doesn’t meet the minimum requirements (12 minimum with 3 of each gender minimum). Once your team roster reflects the minimum, you may obtain substitute players as needed until playoffs.
• Free Agents will not be assigned until 5-7 days prior to the season starting. If you have questions, please reach out!
• You will get a minimum of 8 games guaranteed. This time-frame includes a playoff week to determine the champ!
• PLAYOFFS:
  Top teams make the Silver Cup Division playoffs. The bottom teams make the Solo Cup Division.
  With that stated, there are 2 weeks of playoffs. Top number of teams will vary depending upon total number of teams. If we have less than 10 teams, all will play in the Silver Cup.
• Standings will determine who you play in playoffs. This schedule will release the week before playoffs.
• NOTE: during winter some aspects of the above are different. Please review this page for winter info.

AWARDS:

• Silver Cup winning team gets a team plaque added to and pictures with the FwF Championship Kickball Cup!
  Plus, each present player gets a FwF Championship Medals.
  CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM ALSO GETS ANY NEXT SEASON AT 30% OFF! Even if you don’t return to the same team, you will get the discount applied to your account for winning! Discount can only be applied to kickball, is tied to only you and must be redeemed within a year. Champs will be presented a certificate at the game with the code or can email sports@fwfknoxville.com.
• Solo Cup winning team gets a team plaque added to and pictures with the FwF Solo Cup!
  Solo Cup winning players will win a smaller discount of 10% off any following season (good for 1 year). Players must reach out to obtain code: sports@fwfknoxville.com.
