FAQ

Our email sports@fwfknoxville.com OR messaging our Facebook page Facebook.com/FwFSports is the best way.
We also have a contact us form right HERE on this website.

7 days prior to the season beginning, a full refund will be granted. This is a full 7 days. For example, if the league begins on the 8th of the month then you would’ve had to request a refund by the night of the 1st.
After that, the league pays out a lot of money to secure your spot. Therefore no refunds can be granted after this.

Refunds are not give on shirts that you order. Shirt orders are sent 14 days prior to the season starting. Once that’s sent, we can’t refund the shirt but could still refund your registration for a week longer (see above).

Please feel free to reach out to us to discuss.

Krystal Karnes & Logan Street are our bowling commissioners.

Both can be contacted via our above contact information or via the captain’s chat for the leagues.

We have a captain’s chat via Facebook messenger. Your team captain is in this chat and should be relaying information back to the team. If they are not, please reach out to us so we can fix this.

Also, keep an eye out on our Facebook page.

We will only rarely send emails.

The formula for the handicap is:

Basis Score – Your average x (percentage factor)

See example below:

Game 1: 120
Game 2: 100
Game 3: 80
AVERAGE – 100
Basis Score for FWF 180
Percentage Factor is .90 or 9%
(180 – 100) x .90 = handicap is 72

League standings are always updated BEFORE the next game.

We try our best to do it within 3 days after the last game. However, we sometimes need more time.

The stat sheets and all will be under the “standings” tab.

Please be sure that you submitted payment. If you did not pay, you are not registered to play in the league.

If you did miss payment,  go to the Make Payment tab found HERE

Only once you pay are you registered to play and will be added to your selected team within 48 hours.
If you created a new team, it’ll be added within this same timeframe.

If you joined as a free agent, then most likely we have not
assigned free agents yet. You can check this by going to the teams tab
then clicking the free agents pool tab. If your name is still there, you
have not be assigned a team yet. If your name is removed, you have
been.

A representative of the league will always reach out to you closer to start date to link you with the captain.

League rules are found in pdf format on the home page of this league site. Along with much more important information.

We do follow the league rules and don’t bend them.

In the case where you have a lot of people out and less than 4 bowlers, you can use a blind average for a bowler.

You just add this via the system at the bowling alley. If you need help, please ask the league commissioner (Krystal).

You will get 7 nights of play with 3 team games an evening.

Bowling balls and shoes are included in the cost. Just go to the front desk on league nights and tell them you’re with the Fun with Friends League.

If your team wins the main championship then they win a discount for a future season.

These discount codes will be provided to the team captain OR given to the players at the championship game. They will be tied only to the winning teammates. They can be used ANY future season within 1 year. They can only be used for the sport you won in. To see this discount, visit the “store” tab.

Shirts are custom ordered. Most come by week 2 at the absolute latest. If you don’t have your shirt by week 2 then please contact us from via the above information OR have your team captain reach out.

We do ALWAYS get your shirts to you. However, due to the distributor there can be delays at times.

Once shirts are ordered, we can’t refund them unless the distributor isn’t able to fulfill the order. You MUST show up to games to get your shirt once it’s in. We will only hold them until the last game then they will be donated to another player.

Each team must have at least 6 bowlers. With 4 people bowling per game, at least 1 being a female. This is because we bowl 3 games an evening. Since this is a social league, it allows people to miss games if they need to and still be covered. It also gives players breaks. For example, someone has to work over and can’t show until game 2. Someone has kids and needs to leave before game 3 and etc.

If you have all 6 bowlers show up for an evening, each will end up getting 2 games that night.

If you have less than 6 show for an evening then the ones present will get an extra game.

We suggest asking your teammate’s schedules.
