FwF Axe Throwing League

BASIC INFORMATION:
FwF Sports is an adult, coed, social league and anyone 18+ can play!

• Wednesday SPRING Axe Throwing – Registration is OPEN! 
  Games take place beginning March 27, 2024
• Hosted at Craft Axe Throwing Downtown Knoxville 
  119 W. 5th Avenue Suite 150, Knoxville, TN 37917
  FREE PARKING in their lot or any side street
• Warm-ups begin at 6:30PM (feel free to show earlier)
  Games start at 7PM – all games will be over within 2 hours max
• TOSS ANY DAY, ANY TIME with your league registration!
  That’s right, go in anytime (even outside of league play) to toss!
  Only included during league weeks – start of game 1 until end of game 8 playoffs.
• Register prior to 2 weeks before games begin to save $5 (details below).
• Games last roughly 2 hours max.
• Feel free to bring in food to eat on league nights.
  Craft Axe Throwing Downtown does sell beverages, no outside drinks allowed.
• League hosted by Craft Axe Throwing Downtown & FwF Sports.

HOW TO REGISTER:

• Click “REGISTRATION” tab above to officially register on our site.
  If you have already registered once before, then just log-in if you aren’t already.
• After you complete this step then click on “PAYMENT” tab and complete check-out.
• NOTE: you are not registered to play on a team until you submit payment.
  Registering on the site only creates an account on here. Make sure payment is submitted!
• SIGN ON AS A FREE AGENT OR WITH A FRIEND!
  (for players who need a team)
  In the team name field just type “free agent” or “free agent with (name)” to be placed with a friend.
  NOTE: Free agents are assigned the night of week 1 games. You will show up to the venue then be placed.
• EARLY REGISTRATION COST is $55 for 8 weeks of game play total.
  Pay prior to 2 weeks before games beginning to save!
• LATE REGISTRATION COST is $60 if registering after the 2 week prior deadline.
• Team captain must register a NEW team first unless you are registering as a free agent (to be placed with a random team).
• Team captains choose the team colors. Any color you choose will revert to what your captain picked.

FwF TEAM SHIRTS ARE OPTIONAL BUT TEAMS MUST MATCH IN SHIRT COLOR!
Purchase an official Fun with Friends Axe Throwing League soft tri-blend shirt at a discount for playing!
Only $15 at checkout, just select the option. If you don’t know your team color or are a free agent, leave the color choice blank. 
The FwF shirt comes with several discounts at area locations.
Including, anyone wearing the shirt can toss axes for only $10 anytime, even after the league ends!

NOTE: If you register 2 weeks or less prior to the season start date, your shirt will not arrive until week 4 of games.

IMPORTANT LEAGUE INFO & RULES:

• Axe Throwing Rules: COMING SOON 
• Everything required will be provided by the league.
• You are welcome to bring your own axe. It must be an axe as we ONLY toss axes.
• 3 players per team minimum (no maximum) with at least 1 female required.
• 1 female must toss each game. Otherwise, you’ll have to take a penalty of all zeros for her score.
  The players who do show can still toss for the chance to win even with the penalty. 
• IF YOUR TEAM DOESN’T REGISTER UP TO 3 PLAYERS OR 1 FEMALE, YOU WILL RECEIVE FREE AGENTS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT. Even if you ask us not to. We are sorry but all teams must meet the minimum.
• No substitute players allowed, only league players may toss.
• Free Agents might not be assigned until the night of week 1 games.
  If you see our “free agent pool” tab under teams, you can pick-up free agents for your team ahead of time.
  If you have questions, please reach out!
• You will get a minimum of 8 nights of games guaranteed.
  7 regular season weeks then 1 week of playoffs to determine champs.
  3 games a night. Best 2 out of 3 but all 3 games must be tossed.
  1 game = 10 tosses per player – 3 players per game round max – 2 minimum
  If a team does not show up at all, it’s a forfeit. A forfeit counts as 200 points for the other team.
• Standings will determine who you play in playoffs.

AWARD:

• Winning team players each get a custom FwF Championship Medal.
• CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM ALSO GETS ANY NEXT SEASON AT 30% OFF! Even if you don’t return to the same team, you will get the discount applied to your account for winning! Discount can only be applied to our axe throwing league, is tied to only you and must be redeemed within a year. Champs will be presented a certificate at the game with the code.
